Wats up fellow audi owners. I have 2000 audi a6 2.7t automatic with 80k. The car is completely stock. I didnt my frond cv shafts about 1 month ago. My abs and brake light is on all the time. I wonder what might cause this. The car is completely stock. Stock audi 2.7 wheels. I need your help my inspection is up soon, and i wont pass with this issue.

Did this problem start up right after you did the shafts? Quite honestly, it sounds like an ABS sensor is either damaged or disconnected after the axel shaft replacement. I haven't done them in my Audi yet, but, in my experience on other cars the new shafts contain a gear on wheel end of them which mates directly with the ABS mechinism in the spindle. Something might have gotten... 'mucked up'. Might be worth peeking at.
