Engine Flooded??

I pushed the keys to fast -- it is the ETS engine temp sensor.
I don't know where it is on the 2.7.
It is in the crossover pipe on the back of the motor on a 2.8
If your comfortable with working with tools it is easy.

If I know where it is , I can replace it.
I restored my 68 Corvette so I am not afraid to get my hands dirty and I have the tools.
Just don't know anything about Audi's and don't have the repair manual.
German cars have different technology and are put together a little different than American cars.

Just replaced the sensor and tomorrow morning we will know if it cured the problem.
The problem only occured when the car had sat for many hours and since I already started it once today to move it into the garage i don't know if replacing the sensor cured the problem or not.
The Audi dealer said that if the ECT sensro were bad it would light up the check engine light but mine never did.
When I took the old green sensor out , the "O" ring had completely disintegrated and was missing and there wa slots of corrosion form the leakign coolant so it probably needed replacement anyway.
Total cost for green ECT sensor, "O" ring, and retaining clip was $49.30.
Glad I bought the clip as the old one snapped when I tried to remove it (it's plastic).
Thanks for everyone's input; this old guy much appreciates it.

YEA!!!!
You can't always trust what the dealer says about the CEL.
Most are just parts changers.
