Default downpipes piggie from vast or apr???

Does anyone know why these piggie donpipes from vast are so cheap? Are they any good? Apr wants 1500. vast wants 600.? Is this a case of you get what you pay for or are these just a good deal? Also, can you use these Piggie down pipes on K04 upgrade?

vast all the way. I have them and you can't go wrong after the core charge it is like 400 dollars. I as well as manny others have them they are the best dp for the money IMO.

as for ko4 there are several people in the 11 sec club with piggies so there is no sign of restriction there. I have ko4's ready for my car I just havn't installed them and I have no plan on changing the dp's

Default Additional questions re: Vast Piggies

I had questions about the piggies myself. So step one is to place the order for full price and have the piggies sent to you...Do you need to remove your stock down pipes and ship them(I'm in CA) to Vast and they send credit you for a core return? I was thinking about ordering these and getting a custom magnaflow catback exhaust attached . I am not looking to reinvent the wheel here, and am hoping to find a detailed how-to to copy for my A6. Thanks for the help!

That is exactly correct. Buy theirs, send yours back, core charge is refunded, and you have piggies! Now my being the cheap *** I am, I am going to be building my own piggie pipes while I do my clutch. I think the most expensive part of the Piggies is the dang install. I will be chipping mine with the pipes and new clutch and hope to have a serious rocketship on my hands,... we shall see though. I'm getting the Chip (Giac) through Vast as well. That is also where I purchased my clutch and snub mount.
