Default Correct Pentosin Power Steering Fluid to use ?

Checking the power steering noise during cold weather, found the reservoir empty (does not register on the dip stick). Manual does not say which fluid to use and the cap says "mineral hydraulic fluid only". When I search the various sites and put in 2006 Audi A6 3.2 some sites come up with Pentosin 11s and others with Pentosin CHF202.

Which is correct for this car ? Thanks

I bought from here ... OEM $18.00 ... the other brands about same price.
Check with dealer price, maybe same when online purchase will add shipping.

Thanks, I was trying to take care of it over the weekend with a visit to the parts store as the reservoir is bone dry and the groan is loud. I hear that Audi uses Pentosin which is available but can't seem to figure out which particular one.

Oh well....will have to wait till Monday when the dealership opens.

Exclamation !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never use regular power steering fluid in these cars! If you do, you will eat away all of the seals in the power steering system and auto leveling hydraulics(in the rear) and cause unimaginable leaks leading to replacement of most of the components in these systems. The Pentosin fluid you should use is CHF 11S. It is green in color. If you have a leak in the system you should fix it immediately, the leak will only get worse and replacing the fluid so frequently will cost more $ than the the part would if you had just gotten it fixed.

Thank you...yes, after much research I confirmed they were using Pentosin 11s and that it is is replaced with 202 which is compatible and mixable with 11s. I used CHF 202 and it fixed the problem. No leaks, I never checked the fluid level before and looks like the dealership didn't either !
