Default Complete A6 xenon housings for sale

I have both sides. See my auctions for specific fitment. This has already been posted in the FS section.

Details:

1) Passenger side:

OEM A6 allroad HID Xenon headlight – complete (passenger side)

This housing is 100% complete and ready to install. It has never been installed and is in mint condition. The cost from the dealer is over $600.

It does not have any broken tabs or broken inner housing pieces (common problems with these housings – when buying used). Even the rubber seal (the piece that touches the hood when the hood is down) and is not broken.

It also includes all bulbs, HID ballast, HID D2S bulb and HID projector. It will fit the C5 Audi A6 from years 1998-2001 (V6 only; if V8 4.2, then this won’t fit). It will also fit an Audi allroad (2001-2005 V6 and V8). Actually, the allroad has the same size housing as the V6 A6 (1998-2001); its internals just look different. Here are some links to those on audiworld that have installed allroad housings in their A6:

The part number is: 4B0-941-004-AT (the sticker with the part# pealed off). The dealer cost is for this part is $600+. You should double check with your dealer for fitment.

Also, if you have an A6 V6 (1998-2001) and your car didn’t come with the HID option, you can install this housing. It is completely plug and play with your existing wiring; I did this myself for my 2001 A6 Avant and have been running the OEM HID housing for almost three years without any issues. Don’t be fooled by those imitation Xenon kits. They do not include all of the OEM components, especially the HID projector (a key component to any HID system). Without the HID projector, you would operating a HID bulb into a halogen reflector.

Standard disclaimer: Installing this HID housing might require you to remove your front bumper (details in audiworld.com). You take on this risk on your own. By installing the OEM HID housing, you will not be able to use the automatic self-leveling feature (that will require additional components and wiring; and you won’t find them in ebay). However, you can still adjust and aim the housing with the two white manual ***** on the top of the headlight.

I accept paypal. This item is ready to ship. Happy bidding!

2) Drivers side:

Even the rubber seal (the piece that touches the hood when the hood is down) and is not broken. The only problem with the lens is showing some normal signs of wear (pitting) from road debris. This can be easily “buffed” out with a plastic polish.
