Default Cold start Idle bounce

I resolved a cold start idle bounce on my A8 4.2 and wanted to post it here too because I've read a few members have the problem also.

I tried a TBA no success

codes;
P1564 Throttle actuator low voltage intermittent

P1141 Load Calculation cross check implausible

So going of the "under voltage" DTC I pulled the terminal off and cleaned it, Nothing. Then I pulled the side cover off
took a nail file to the top two terminals ans sprayed the rest with MAF cleaner and just tweaked the four lower terminals.

For those that need pictures (midniteoyl) Please scroll down.

I did mine with the TB on the manifold. I don't know if you can do them all that way. Stuff shop rags around it before popping the clips or you'll be sorry!

The upper terminals I cleaned with a nail file. Blow out the filings with air!

The lower ones I sprayed and bent them out very slightly so they make good contact.

The cover I sprayed

The cold start idle bounce and the surge while driving is gone. Acceleration from a stop is much smoother.

It is on the passenger side or of the throttle body.
The throttle body is where the air comes into the engine located on the top of the intake
so you need to take the top plastic cover off.
Work slowly and tuck rags around and use magnets or those clips will disappear!
everything in there is dainty so kit gloves and be delicate.

clean all electric connections on these cars and apply dialectic grease when ever you disconnect them or have a day you feel like playing with the car.
