I would take your car to autozone and have the fault codes read before condeming the clutch.

If you are releasing the clutch and giving it gas, does the car barely move and the rpm's increase? My car did not shake when my OEM clutch started slipping at 128K.

OOOO

Without driving your car (the only real way to diagnose a clutch problem IMO), it sounds like you are describing clutch chatter/slipping that occurs on launch. This would make the engine stutter as you described as the clutch is not fully engaging right away. At 100k+ miles, the stocker is probably pretty well worn out.

An old trick to verify clutch slippage is to drive the car in a high gear, 4th or 5th at low mph so that the rpm's are around, or less than 1k. Then, put the gas to the floor and feel what happens. If the RPM's jump around a little and then settle, or you feel some bucking in the drivetrain, than most likely your clutch is slipping.

i'm having identical problems with my Stg II clutch
i had it installed 6 months ago

recently this problem has occured
i took it to a VERY reputable Audi performance shop. They told me the clutch was glazed. Recommended a Stg III replacement (warranteed from when they installed it)
They also said if i launch it a few times it may fix it.
turn off your Traction contol-take it to 7,000 revs and drop the clutch FAST
give it time between launches

Another test to see if is the same problem:

lift the clutch from a stop until it bites. DO NOT give any gas. go 1 mph. does it vibrate?
