Car smokes under the hood when center vents are on????

Default Car smokes under the hood when center vents are on????

Whats going on guys 2002 a4 3.0 quattro A/T here and just noticed a fair amount of smoke from under the hood and it only did it when the 2 center vents where on while the heat was on and i noticed that the center vents get extremely hot is this normal on audi's??

"smoke" coming from anywhere is never a good sign. it could be that you have a potentially serious problem, however, smoke coming from under the hood isn't really conducive to being able to diagnose the exact nature of your problem. I would recommend that you get it inspected by a mechanic ASAP.

well first of all thanks for your reply.. yea and smoke is a very scary thing. which is why im worried but it only does it when the center vents are on.. ive confirmed like 5 times so pretty sure it has something to do with the heating system ..o and the car isnt overheating it runs at normal temp.. any ideas?? mine, is maybe something with the heater core since it only does it when center vents are on?
