Boost Issue
OK, my car 2003 A6 2.7T with 96,254 miles.
I did a pressure test up to 20psi and no leaks.
I thought it might be the N75 going out. So i installed a MBC and the thought was that I could monitor the boost and adjust as required up to 12psi on stock tune but the damn thing did not work at all. All it did was wistle a little and the boost would rise up to 7psi and by 4000rpm no boost and going into vacuum, to me and to my friend with a VW 1.8t greatest of amazement.
So now I am back to the factory N75 which is atleast offering a small but consistant 8psi of boost sometimes more in the morning and less in the heat of the south Georgia day.
If I got the APR tune, would this solve my issues? What else am I missing.
The car gets about 16mpg mostly due morning warm up and short 7 min trips to and from work.
