Default bolt pattern question

My a6 bolt pattern is 5x112

Will a 20in. staggert 350z 5x114.3 wheel setup work on my car?

Bolt patern should be 5x112, otherwise the wheels will not be seated properly. Also, staggered not the best for Quattro. Just my two cents...

In short, not without redrilling the wheels. Which can be done, BTW, so if you really like the wheels, take them to a wheel shop and have it done.

I've heard of others doing this...I guess the wheels would be left with slightly oval holes, yes?

Staggered wheels, although nice looks, actually increase the already horrible understeer on the A6Q. Staggered wheels are popular on RWD cars (like BMW). But if you are going for looks (which I titally understand), then just be aware that you are impacting the handling of the car as well. Also, you MUST keep the rolling diameter of the wheels the same, so if you go with a wider wheel/tire in back, just make sure the tire's outside diameter matches exactly the tire diameter in front, or suffer some extra wear on your Quattro AWD.

I don't know if I "titally" understand this post but I do know that redrilling wheels is best left to the professional and Quattro's are very sensitive to wheel diameters. Even certain tires cause problems. There are numerous posts describing problematic vibration, shimmy, and wheel bouncing to make one be very careful when messing with the wheels - unless one just wants a good looking grarage queen.

Thanks for the replies

I have only owned the car for a week now and love it plan and plan on driving it daily so i think a oem rs4-6 or a8 wheel would be best.
