Battery drain
Has anyone have a problem with their battery draining down. It has happened
about 3 times, once at the dealer ( they found no problem) and twice in my driveway. The battery is not even a year old. After I charge it It is ok for who knows how long????? Charging system checks out ok, no other problems exsists.

Damn -- Tell us the freeking year of your Audi -It makes a difference in what could be wrong.
Earlier this week, a friend I haven't seen for years visited and the conversation got around to cars. He had seen my Audi in the yard and told me bought a new one in 2002 but got rid of it at 30K miles because of numerous problems.
One was that the battery died when he let it sit for more than two days. During a trip to Europe he left the vehicle at the dealer ( for the umteenth time) and told them that they were getting one more chance to fix it. When he returned they told him that they could find nothing wrong. When he got in the car to go home the battery was dead.
Needless to say he made them understand that they had to had to fix it or else. To cut the story short it took them another three weeks to figue out that one of the rear door switches was bad and it caused the battery to drain.
My opinion is that Audi made some great vehicles in the late 80's and again in the mid 90's but faltered badly in the early 90's and again in the late 90's thru to whenever.
