Yesterday I ran into a problem with the slider cover that goes with the shifter. It got a bit bunched up and I had a problem putting into drive. I sprayed some silicone lubricant on the cover and worked the shift lever back and forth and problem solved. The shift lever and cover work really easy now. A real cheap and quick fix if anyone runs into the same problem. See picture.
