Default Audi Stereo

Hi, I want to change the head unit (stereo) on my car from the stock 6 disc changer to an Alpine. Which harness do I buy, as the one I bought does not fit, someone said cause of the Bose speakers I have to rewire all the speakers to the Bose amp?

the amps are at the speakers in an Audi so it is not a easy as you'd like it to be.

About the only thing I can suggest is to go beat up Google and search there. I found this pretty quickly: http://www.incarexpress.co.uk/view_p...?partno=PC9408, but I have no idea if the connector it adapts the Bose harness over to fits the Alpine or not.

You might have to make your own harness with an adapter from the Audi Bose to just bare wire. (I got stuck doing this with my old Volvo). It makes life a little harder that day, but you never have to cut the harness in the car. If you know which end of a soldering iron is hot, it's not that hard of a job to do. Beer (afterward) helps, too
