I have a 2001 Audi A6 2.7T with alittle over 200000 miles on it . I really love my car but ran into a problem. After my audi is good and warmed up it will not switch gears..it will not go into drive or reverse but it will go into N or Park. When I start my audi and its is still cold it drives just fine but after about 10 mins of being good and warm it will start to jump alittle then just stop switching gears. I do have one bad CO sensor on my audi. My husband wants to get rid of it but i love it soooo much please help if u can!!

 

okay my audi will go into drive and reverse but will not do anything i can rev up my gas and rpms but will not go anywhere... On the other hand folks what do u think would be a good price to sell it for as it sits??? I really dont want to sell it but might have too. I already purchased a Ford f-150 to take its place.

 

Have you ever changed the transmission fluid? If not I would recommend you do that. You will also need to scan and clear any codes on the TCM. Don't bother taking it to Audi, take it to and Audi specialist who has the VCDS software.

 

yes the fluid was changed 2 years ago when the torque converter was changed...
