I can't tell you how to determine which keyfob you need, but the only thing I can tell you is that part number: 4Do-837-231e is interchangeable with P/N 4Do-837-231p. The difference being e & p. I own 1 e and 1 p keyfob and they work just fine together on my 00.

That's all I know about which keyfobs p/n's.
