Another Technical 2.7T Question...
I am trying to figure out what is wrong with my 2001 2.7T. I have a somewhat intermittent "choking" problem. Usually before my car is warmed up (and especially on start up) seems like it is starving for something. I am thinking it is either air or fuel. I don't think it is a fuel problem, because the mileage per gallon is typical at about 21MPG. I know that these cars have alot of air flow components with the twin turbos and all. I thought it could be a boost problem, but on start up you turbos are not moving right? So, now I think it might be a MAF (BOSCH) or O2 sensor problem. The car has 104K on it, and I don't know if either one has ever been replaced. My hang up is, I thought that sensor problems would trip the check engine light (Mine must be burnt out...LOL). It's a major annoyance when it happens, cause it seems like something might be really wrong, but then it goes away as soon as it comes.
Thanks,
Thanks,
