And I thought gullible meant that he knew Jonathan Livingston Seagull and he was able to fly like a gull.
Or maybe he proved that a gullible was eatable.
In any case do the scan thingy. You'll learn a lot.

You had to know that the MIL was related to a camshaftwhen you started this discussion.. You should have given us more info in the beginning.
Mother nature and the guys with crytal ***** don't like to be fooled with.
16727/P0343/000835 - Camshaft Position Sensor (G40): Signal too High
Symptoms
Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) active
Possible Causes
Wiring from/to Camshaft Position Sensor (G40) faulty
Camshaft Position Sensor (G40) faulty
Timing misaligned
Possible Solutions
Check Wiring from/to Camshaft Position Sensor (G40)
Check Camshaft Position Sensor (G40)
Check Timing
See. It's easy! Probably the sensor but it might be the wiring.. Have fun!

Did someone change timing belt and/or waterpump recently?

I was waiting for the code, but...
What was wrong and what was fixed? It sounds like the camshaft sensor is either bad or the connection came loose. I believe 'Bank One' is one the passenger side. Take a quick look to see if you can find it (take the covers off) and if not, take it back to the shop who did the work.
I own an a6 2002 Audi avant and lately ive been having a lot of problems with it so i took it one week ago to the agent and paid a top dollar to fix all the problems it had. Two days after that, a symbol popped up into the dashboard.
