I did .. i took it today to an autozone and the reading said:

( P0343) : '' CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR A - BANK ONE CIRCUIT HIGH INPUT''

what does it mean ?

 

You had to know that the MIL was related to a camshaftwhen you started this discussion.. You should have given us more info in the beginning.

Mother nature and the guys with crytal ***** don't like to be fooled with.

See. It's easy! Probably the sensor but it might be the wiring.. Have fun!

 

Did someone change timing belt and/or waterpump recently?

 

I was waiting for the code, but...
What was wrong and what was fixed? It sounds like the camshaft sensor is either bad or the connection came loose. I believe 'Bank One' is one the passenger side. Take a quick look to see if you can find it (take the covers off) and if not, take it back to the shop who did the work.
