Actually I pointed out the mistake just TO HELP YOU, not to mock whatever you posted. And even if an A6 owner might have a nice A4 for your liking, you should have still inquired as a new thread, not "jamming" someone's transmission problems post.

I appreciate the good intentions. However, the last point was already clarified.....no jamming was done (quite the contrary), if you take a minute to read my response to the poster.

Since you have a 2003 A6 with a 4.2L, perhaps it may be similar to a 2000 A6 with a 4.2L which had a transmission and torque converter problem. https://www.audiforums.com/forum/sho...t=transmission
