Default 300,000 Mile or 500,000 KM Club - Please Sign up

Just turned 314,000 miles on my 2000 A6 2.7T 5 Speed Manual shift Audi. Motor is still strong. A/C Compressor, Exhaust, Starter, Window motors all still original. Looking forward to hearing from other 300K, 500,000KM Audi owners.

Kinda quiet waiting for other 300,000 mile Audi owners. Any other out there? Rick

My 1959 Auto Union 1000 has done 360 000 miles (359713) - car's never been rebuilt (although the engine and gearbox have)....

Its probably not much of a comparison at only 6600 miles per year...

Sweet jesus, that's impressive!

Original turbos??

I guess the 5spd manual makes a big difference on longevity, people tend to give up on their C5 when the automatic transmission goes.

Not in your league, but at 216k with original turbos I feel confident making 250k. Did replace the clutch, flywheel, and cats - she's been chipped since 80k.

My 2000 A6 5 speed manual still has original transmission, Clutch, twin Turbos, and exhaust. My garage agrees automatics don't tend to last as long as the manuals due to the resistance of the automatics taxing the engine at all stages. But, this is just one theory. Hopefully, this thread will show them wrong.

Update - My 2000 A6 just hit 318,000 yesterday. I still have the original muffler but the strap holding it now needs replacing. Can't complain about little things breaking at 318K however.
