Default 2000 Audi 2.7T Transmission..

Well My transmission has an about 3inch crack see attach... The Transmission works fine as long as it has fluid in it, my question is. Is there a way to just replace that part?

and other than to pay 3k+ what would be the least expensive fix for this.

Thanks, in Advance

The car runs Fine as long as it has Fluid. the Crack is about 3" or even smaller, I took it to my shop, and my guys will take a look at it by tomorrow or the day after, I mean the transmission is OK, well you get what I am trying to say, internally other than the crack it shift, and runs great.......
