Well thanks to you guys and LOTS of reading ive identified a few things. but still need help.

Bought this car for a good deal 143xxx on it. 2 days in i start noticing a hesitation on up hills and even a little everywhere. Like im missing some boost.
Then my check engine light comes on!! ****

Got it on the vagcom and there is 10 ****ing codes. The first of which is a p1602 something about power supply voltage. The rest of the codes are all voltage too high or too low.. So i look at the battery... 5yrs old. Replaced it.

Get outta the shop and as soon as im on the interstate i can still feel the shuddering in 4th at about 3500 the most on an uphill. When i hamm on it its smooth but not much boost. idle is smooth. So i start reading and start fearing the worst. Read this one post with a similiar condition and the guy said it ended up being the turbos. 2 days later the cel is back

Well i finally get up under the hood and (thanks to all your posts and my reading) the first thing i look at is the throttle body boot. Low and behold, tell me if you think this could be the problem! (Picture below)

So my question is... Could this be causing the 1602+ all the others?

I got a new tbb on order from audi Sacramento should be here later today. And I ordered a silicone hose set from autobahn 88 on eBay (recommended by other people here) but that won't be here for a week.

 

I'd focus on the easier fixes 1st and harder ones last.
Throttle boot = Easy
Turbos = Hard.
