Oil consumption test denied

Oil consumption test denied
I have a 2011 A5 that was denied oil consumption test because the car was altered. It has an aftermarket exhaust and has been lowered. They say it will have to be put back to stock to do the test. Problem is it will cost more to put back to stock than it would to replace the rings. Car uses a quart of oil every 200 miles. I just don't get what any of the mods have to do with the problem. They know there is a problem with the car and it should be fixed no matter what. Any ideas what to do?

Start a small claims court action and sue Audi for the maximum amount you can in small claims. Take it through the whole process - don't give up. Get 3 estimates for the cost to replace the rings. Print out any official information on the internet about the oil consumption problem. Document the consumption of 1 quart every 200 miles.
Gather whatever evidence you can.
Start posting blogs about the denial because of an exhaust and the car being lowered.
Ask Audi if putting the stock exhaust back on will change their minds about doing the test.
