It's an older pic, but the stereo hasn't changed. My speaker amp is mounted on a bracket on the other side of the sub.

its is all about the jl amps and subs. and the best decks on the market hands down is the eclipse line not many people carry it and you cann't find it on the net or atleast not suppose to. in eclipse if you can find a dealer will run you about 250 for a good deck and will destroy anything alpine pioneer of clarion has to offer. 3 year warranty and 1 year anti-theft which means if your **** gets jacked they send you a new radio. i know these things because i wor at a shop that sells eclipse, alpine, pioneer, jl and clarion. and i promise eclipse is above and beyond everyone in sound and warranty.

Yeah I'd vouch for eclipse as well... out of personal preference though, I'd go clarion if I was buying today.

My old alpine is still my favourite head unit... new alpine is junk.

yeah alpine is still ok in my book the only complaint i have is that they skip alot and that is one thing about the eclipse is you never have a cd skip on you. you can go get all those cds that are laying around cause the are to scratched to play and they will play no problem.

Geez, why you guys hating on Alpine so much? It's actually damn good electronics.... and if you compared new model to new model Alpine is far better than Eclipse could ever hope to be, sorry but that is a fact. I've studied the new Eclipse line and it really looks cheap. And if they hadn't joined with Tom-Tom they could still be okay for navigation... too bad they break 100% more often than an Alpine. As for Kenwood, I haven't looked at their new line much, but I still have 3 old Kenwoods getting daily use in my families' cars. One of which is over 10 years old and still works great. JL Audio is probably the best choice for speakers and amps... but I'd stay away from the Sony stuff unless you are just looking for bottom dollar.

Everyone is right Jl audio is the way to go. If you never heard of eclipse then you never heard of hi end audio. Thats the bottom line fujitsu ten is hi end audio. Personally i have the alpine double din screen in the front 2 jl audio 525 xr's as components. Jl audio 300/4 for the interior and jl audio 500/1 for bass and a kickerL7 box. I work in a very prestigious car audio retail store in jersey if anyone let me know i will hook them up. Remember stinger 4 gauge wiring is the best way to keep the system bumping. I will post pics up if anyone wants to see the whip in a few weeks. Headshcok2002 ur setup is similar to mine but u havethe better4 channel than mine.
