I just got my 6000k's today because my stocks were starting to blow out, right at the 90k suggested life-span....They are awesome, VERY comparable to the 4300k OEM HID's....I actually can't really tell the difference---They actually seem like they give better visibility- nice and bright. Anything higher than 6000k will start to lose efficiency and you will start to get a cleaner bluer look, but the light isnt as usable. Check my pic out- {even though the blueness doesnt show up in a picture, the car still looks good =] }

Mrbagoda, could you get a pic of those 6000ks at night? Ive been set on getting 4300k because I don't like the blue tint, but it seems like yours don't have the blue tint. I really want a stock look with lots and lots of light. Not big on the purple garbage.

Bixenons are high/low beam HIDs. I love mine. The new Audi xenons light up the road very nicely. The ones I have now are 10 times better than the stock HID's I had in my '01. The best part is the lights turn with the steering wheel to I can see what's around the bend...

Yea right, its all glare. Even with projectors the light output is worse than stock. Not to mention the blinding effect 8000k has on everyone else on the road. Its really annoying to see them on cars with halogen headlights.

lol, I wonder why in the world would anyone want the crap light output of8000k or 10000k HID's. And I agree with ya Trey; I hate those douchebags that just throw Hi temp HID bulbs in relflector housings. It is horribly blinding to others on the road.

aight i can see your side, but what i dont' get is, if people say that 6000k's emit more light aka are brighter, how can you be complaining about someithing that emits less light like a 8000k or 10000k blulb?

I was refering to the people that put any temp bulbs in their stock reflector housing. It's those douchebags that have the bright blinding light at any temperature. 4300k emits more visable light than higher temps, the closest thing to daylight. The whole purpose of HID is to have the best light output possible. It amazes me how many people buy 8000k and even 10000k or 12000k just for the damn color.I don't know about anyone else, butI would feel like an idiot buyingtechnology like HIDs knowing full well thatI could have had themost optimumtemperature bulbs.
