wow, im really a little lost in you post..trying to start things? i don't think i ever did. you are the one instigating it, you always are the one to do so.. i stated the facts, you just ignored them, and re wrote what you had already stated that doesn't even pertain to this..
point is Cincy, this whole thread wouldn't even have been started if you hadn't given misinformation

You stated facts? You said they are strong.... well duh, they are quality H beam rods. For the last time, read and understand what i have said. I have not once said they are bad or weak rods, i said they arent as strong and have longevity issues. If i had 19mm stock pistons and just wanted drop ins, i would use them of course. Since i dont and went to 83mm pistons, there is no way i could even use them. I have also talked to Peter (turbo_20v) on vortex a few times about his rods and other products, have you?
The info he needed is all over the place, just because i said it once (and not the only one) shouldnt mean all the weight is on me (which i even appoligized for) for me not thinking correctly once.

him and his brother do good stuff.. one day im supposed to run his BT'd mk2 GTI.. he may make over 400 to the wheels.. but im going to be counting on his wheels spinning for most of that
