Was just about to say the same thing about the engine. ^ My internet is being poky right now so I didn't know if the pic just didn't load.
If it has adjustable coil overs then he might have it set high to have clearance for the 19's. I am pretty sure this car was on ebay a month or 2 ago.

The pics are really, really bad!
The price is a little high, for a salvage. Yea, you can register them, but you can't get a car loan for them, Insuring them is really tough.
Over all the car look Ok, at least all the parts seam to be there, but yea, some underhood shots would be nice. So wouldn't pics in focus, & don't shoot a BLACK CAR IN THE DARK!

FYI my last car (1994 honda accord)was a theift recovery. I never had any problems registering (in OR)or insuring (Progressive Online). The only problem the car had was a small dent in the hood where they hit it to release the hood, and it had to be rekeyed.
So that alone isn't a reason to rule out a car. that said the rest of it sounds pretty fishy. If someone lived in the area and could check it out then maybe it would be nice for them...
