nah they suck even more, the A6 one is much better, why couldn't we get that instead of that stupid storage hole with the cover on it? Although handlily wallet sized.

I have the Passat cupholders and I'm very happy with them. Their design makes them seem a little iffy, but I tested mine out on some turns with a fairly large, top-heavy drink in there and it was totally secure. They may not be the best, but they are definitely better than the stock pieces of *****, as our friend Paul from overseas put it.

That one looks pretty sweet, but the Passat one is a little slicker. It folds up out of the way, and it also has two spots instead of just the one. I'd take a pic of the Passat one in my car but it's in the shop for some trani repairs right now. The Passat one also requires two holes to be drilled into your center console, they're very small though. I would say if you only need one holder, go with the ultimate, but if you want two, and if you want it to fold up out of the way, go with the Passat's. The Passat holders are also pricier ($50 at clairparts)

Here's a pic on Clairparts:

I'm trying to keep my car as clean looking as possible, that's why i went with the Passat's, they look more like they're supposed to be there than the other one, especially when they're folded up.

Ah thats not bad, that's completley different to the other passat ones i've seen.

There is another one you can buy that fills the armrest and makes it a space for two cups but i love my armrest space.

Definitely, the armrest is a must. That's why the stock holders are worthless, even if they held drinks, they would still block the armrest.

would the one that goes in the dash where the coinholder suck too? I dont want to have to hold the cup when turing either. Will the passat ones stay in "spirited driving"?
