I want to get rid of the cupholders on the center console (I just installed the Passat cupholders) and I want to fill the space in with a secondary cigarette lighter, since the stock one is right in the way of my shifter when my phone's plugged in. Is there a solid plate that screws into that spot that I can buy and drill out?

Sorry, I have not heard of this. Im not sure if the Euro models have cup holders at all. You may want to ask this question on audiworld.com to see if they have any ideas.

Euro models have cup holders, they are queer little pop up things down by the handbrake lever, just hold the cup from the bottom. They're *****, do you guys get anything better?
