There is a Massive price difference in Audi's around the world. We have heaps here but still get reamed on the price. For instance. A 1996 A4 1.8tq with 100,000 would sell privately for $17,000 AUD which works out at about $12,750 USD. We are really getting screwed over here aren't we?

 

theres tariffs and other taxes thr foreign car makes have to pay when they bring cars here to the US

Yes, Australia gets the old screw job on cars. Though, look how far from Aus. Germany is.


Denmark I hear is the worst for buying cars. Their insurance is literally almost the same as the value of the car EVERY YEAR.

 

I'm very interested in that Red, the thing is though they have to be RHD, any suggestions. I mean I got doodled when I bought mine & now its on blocks. But really, when I hear the guys in the US getting 2001-02 models for 13500 USD and some people saying "Gee, Thats expensive". I feel very violated & upset. :-) No one warned me that I would need a really good Quality Vaseline.

 

Where I come from you get an A4 Q 96 with front wheel drive and 150 bhp with 190000km on it, for 20000 to 24000 USD... ! That is a normal price this car...

An 02 A4 2,5tdi with 100000km goes for 55400 USD stock...
An 02 A4Q 2,5tdi with 90000km goes for 62000 USD stock...

This is, believe it or not the normal pricerange for this car...

You wouldn't wanna live in Norway if you want good/cool cars....
