RE: woohoo got my first vag reading!!!
What interface are you using? Vag-com? Generic?
Try going to settings and turning FIFO off.

You are missing a lot of readings. are you using a Vag-com or generic off eBay?
the HVAC codes show problems with the valves that direct air to your feet and the one that directs air over the a/c or heat. Taht will cause problems

RE: woohoo got my first vag reading!!!
Yes and no.
You need the proper cable to connect your computer to the car. Generic cable can be bought from eBay for 40-60 bucks or so, but they have limited functionality, and often don't connect well. The free software you can get from Ross-tech is limited unless you buy the registered version for 100 dollars.
The Ross-tech cable and their full software costs about 230 dollars and comes with support. Worth the money for anyone with an Audi.
