Hi, I have a 1997 Audi A4 2.8l. I have a problem starting the engine, Engine will start only if I gas it to the max using the engine **** located on top of the engine while turning ON with key. When car starts, engine runs with no problem. I been doing this for a while which is not good for the car. Today it started to spit liquid substance with black tare or something when I floored the car in neutral. I changed the battery, spark plug, engine oil, and coolant but the engine still won’t start on it’s own. What do you think is wrong with the car? i am hoping not to do this method to start the car anymore. Thanks

 

i will need help on this, does any one have and suggestion? how much do you think to rebuilt the engine?
