I lucked out my car came with that type of mat but it has the red badge next to the a4. It also looks like there is undercoating on the car too, not sure if its stock though. Kind of weird since the car came from FL. I just picked up a bottle of ice melting additive for the windshield fluid, and got some A/S tires. All i got to do now is change the oil and flip old man winter the bird.

Im ready.

I changed the oil and got new tires on the expedition.

The audi is to low for more than 1 inch of snow, so more than that Im in the big truck.

i just put the stock rims and tires on. skinny tires=better traction in snow.

I don't do anything. The stock wheels and tires work fine, even in snow. Last winter after a big snowstorm there were all these big American SUVs hopelessly stuck and we just drove right past them in the wife's A4 Quattro. Haven't gotten it stuck yet.

Yeah, well my big 4x4 suv, ford expedition, has barreled through more than a foot of snow without even thinking about it, so dont know what you're talking about.

Id put my truck againt an a4 in the snow, especially 1 foot +, any day of the week.

I love my a4, but but not in the deep stuff.

I'm sure the Expedition would do better than the A4 in a foot of snow, but the quattro is great in the snow nontheless. We haven't had to shovel it out once.

I was just responding to your comment about suv's stuck in the snow.

4 wheel drive a4's do well also. Im not arguing that.
