I have a 2000 (11/99) audi a4 1.8tQ
I just tried and it isn't on on my car.
I was planning to take it down to the local auto parts place and use there VAG to check codes today, and would love to turn this feature on. can somone tell me how?

and i have to park on the roof at the hotel i work @ here in sd, ca. which means when i get to my car its about 148 degrees in there. not really, but can you do this a/c + remote start with vag com on any b5? or have u done it already?

When I had my '96, I was able to put the windows up with an aftermarket keyless entry system (valet?)

I used the link above about a month ago to code my central locking unit. I found out that I can use my remote car starter key-FOB to roll down my windows - just extended my range to 1/2 mile :-) Roll the windows down, start the car and let it get the A/C rollin as I'm walkin out of work.
