Ok So I can get my windows to go up with my keys, but I hear that it is possible to wind them up just with the key fob (keyless entrée, or whatever you want to call it). However, it does not work with mine.
Any ideas why and how to make it work??

 

year would help... but i have an 01 and its not possible remotely... there may be a way to do it with the VAG but im not the master of that.. some others on here are though....

 

you can make them all go down by sticking your key in the keyhole, and turning and holding it to the unlock position, and the opposite for them to all go up....... FYI, i have an '01

 

Just hold the unlock button down for like 10secs for them to go down, and hold the lock button for like 10secs for them to go back up....

 

I got a friend to use most honorable VAG COM to get my 02' A4 1.8T Quattro Manual to do it. It really comes in handy on those hot days.

 

I don't think you need a VAG-COM to do it.....just hold the unlock or lock button on the key down for a few secs and the windows will go up/down

 

tjolson what year do you have? i've tried that on mine and it doesnt work. only if i put the key in the door...

 

Yeah mine works with just the key in the door (I have a 2000 1.8T Q Manual), just wont work with my clicker thingy

 

You need vag-com for this to work.
