Default Window Tint Question

Okay.. i have a 2004 A4 3.0L and i want to make the windows darker.. not strictly because it looks better but to help with privacy. I dont want people to see what i have in my car..

My interior is tan. and is a lot lighter ( in color ) than black interior

What percentage should i get? I dont want the windows to look green. I dont want to go too dark and i dont want it to be too light.

Would 35% tint contrast too much with the tan interior and make it look sloppy??

I would definately go darker than 35 percent. You could go with 20-25 percent and it would be plenty dark without being black. I had 25 on my last car and it was perfect. I had light tan interior.

I have light grey interior and just had 35% put all the way around. Looks good and is dark enough for me. Very pleased. 35% is the darkest tint you can put on the driver and passenger side windows without needing a permit in missouri.

I have 15% in the rear and 25% in front. At night, the front is difficult to see in, almost impossible and the rear is basically impossible to see through during the day.
