will 2.5" hi-flow cat fit on to downpipe of 2.25" borla exhaust?

so i want to buy the full borla exhaust system w/ downpipe. I have an aftermarket hi-flow cat (in pic below) that is 2.5" and i want to know if it will bolt on to the 2.25" downpipe on the full 2.25" borla exhaust system. I want to make sure it will connect with no problems before i go ahead and purchase. Please let me know, thanks

It should. The 3inch test pipes fit them, so I dont know why that wouldnt.

someone out there makes a 2.5 borla cat-back, I saw a post about it the other day. i'd go with that rather than a 2.25 setup, since your high-flow is 2.5.

yea i would but i found a full borla exhaust system for cheap that was 2.25" so i wanted to make sure they would bolt up fine

Its the techtonic tuning exhaust, they usetwo 2.5 borla mufflers with 2.5 exhuast piping, but you have to buy the downpipe seperatly. thats what i have and i just love it.
