I recently replaced my intake with a eurosport tuning intake. Right away it started making wierd noises. Its like someone is blowing over a bottle or something. but it only happens between 2k and 3k RPMS and only under slight acceleration. it doesnt happen when i can hear the turbo spooling and accelerate hard. So i immidietly thought it was the intake and waited a few weeks to see if it would go away. but it never did. so yesterday i just put in a evoms intake. the blowing sound doesnt come up as much now and it is slightly quieter but it is stil very annoying. also the throttle response feels far worse than with my older eurosport tuning intake. Does anyone know what is wrong or has anyone had this same expierence?

 

less throttle responce is common with intakes on a mostly stock car, and the noise is porbably normal

 

The throttle response should take a hit below 2-2.5k RPM and should be better above that. If you have a tip, then itll be much mroe noticeable becuase you spend more time in that RPM range.

 

my car started doing that when i did the custom box mod. i don't think its anything to worry about
