So right now I'm just contemplating the future of my A4, and w/m injection popped into my head. I've looked into it a little before, but who's using it on their A4 with the k03?


What are the pros?


What are the cons?


How often do you have to refill?


What w/m injection kit are you running?


What are your mods?


I'm planning on running it because I'm cheap, and it'll be nice to be able to stay in the lower class for auto-x.

I was looking into this as well. I Had the same questions and there is a post somewhere around here that answers that. I will try and find it.

What are the pros? Lower iat, increased octane rating on 93 (moves it to over 100), cleans cylinders, andreduces knock


What are the cons? The install, not hard, but needs installed


How often do you have to refill? Depends on amount injected (depends on hp level), how you driveand size of bottle used. You should go atleast a full tank with a decent sized tank


What w/m injection kit are you running? Only 2 worth running are Snow performance stg2 and devils own stage 2


The only downside of this for you is that you have a '98 which you cant use lemmingwinks on (to increase timing). But you will however get to use a 100+ octane race file on pump gas along with increased psi daily.

You have the same engine as me, so you can't use it either!

Cincy maybe you can help me with this, Why is the Snow Performance Stg 2 kit $90 more than the DevilsOwn kit? They're both progressive, does the Devils Own kit not get the boost reading from the MAF? I see the Snow Performance kit includes a tank, but I wont use that anyways, and that can't be the only thing different for the $90 difference.

But to my understanding is that Lemmi/Unisettings doest work on pre2k cars. So you need to have a race file or water meth program installed in the ecu like so

I had problems communicating with my ECU using Limmiwinks. Cincy recommended Unisettings and it has worked great for me! very easy to use....Ciny is FTW!!

I'll just be running it on GIAC k03 software, so I would just get a 100oct program and 91 oct program, correct?

 

Higher psi capable pump and better name. You can run a map or maf based kit for both also. The Snow kit is cheaper at USralleyteam.com ($390 and other options available).
