hahaha just for a wheel opinion thread this has gotten kinda funny.....

if your carispearl white get some rims with a nice sized chrome lip (2.5"liplooks amazingon b5's)and pay someone to paint your rims the same pearl white as your car...that would be look sick

but if your car isnt pearl white desregard everything I said and get silver/gunmetal/black, but still with a nice 2.5" lip ha

 

I'd go gunmetal/black with a bigass polished lip if I were you, but on my Silver A4, I'm gonna go Polished Aluminum, an assload of maintenance, but look good when polished constantly, plus it'll gimme something to do in the summer. Big Lips are where its at IMO.

This brings up another Q: Are staggered wheels hard on Quattro?! The wheels I am looking at come in 18x8.5 and 18x9.0/9.5. I want to go staggered, and know I can fit the same size tires on each wheel, because the backs have either 1/2" or 1" wider lip on them than the fronts would (I'd prob go wit 1/2" wider). They are both +35mm offset... think it'd be a bad idea? I personally love the look of staggered wheels, but don't want to hurt my car.

 

+1 for gunmetal. White belongs on Civics. Chrome would be nice, but IMO, I'd go with gunmetal. BTW, design matters. Post up some links to some wheels so we can get an idea of what you're thinking about.

saw this on AZ and it made me think of this thread... can you guys beleive that the guy sold this to get a 4runner and lift it, wrong decision IMO

 

deffinatley do not put staggered on a quattro it will f*** it up big time.

 

Those look good. Get some wires in white with some gold nipples.

 

not that i have staggered setup on my car. but actually that is not true, if you do the math with stretched tires and such you can run staggered on a quattro successfully
