i wanna install a phatnoise so proceeded to take that black box that our fancy tool kit is connected to, when i was taken apart the molding i found 2 connections and dont know what they r for and which one to connect to the phatnoise, i also wanna know why there r so many connections on the black metal box thing that our tool kit sits in.

I would just unscrew that modual from the metel box and install the phatnoise. Looks like you found the wire for the thing anyway. Goodluck. Let us know how it turns out.

 

i believe most, if nto a,ll of those are for if you had a 6cd changer that was an option with the car. to save money, car manufacturers put in everything as if they had the option, so if they need to put it in, its as plug and play. instead of making a whole new production line.

 

yeah its part of the stereo. Possibly AM/FM module that ive seen on other vehicles but not 100%. just leave it in there. i installe dmy phatbox and then just plugged it back in. ENjoy the phatbox.

 

Ok the round plug that u are holding in 2 pics is for the factory stacker, but u have got me realy puzzled bout the other rectangular plug with all the pins in it?

Me car has the phone & SatNav/Tv - so thats what the big plugs prob for?
