Whats going down with Turbo upgrades for the B5?
For the longest time, I thought APR made a kit that could boost the B5 to 345hp... but its seems thats only for the B6.
GRRRR...
Im wondering if there is an upgrade that will boost me close to those numbers. I think its weak as hell that APR makes a stage 3 turbo kit that boosts to 220hp for around the same price as the one that boosts to 345hp.

You have to go my road. I have GT3071-WG (4" inlet), 3" downpipe without catalyc converter, 3" full back exhaust, 550cc injector, Pauter Rods, JE Pistons, new valves, Spec Stage 3 Clutch, Evolution FMIC, B&M Short shifter, etc... The engine and the head was fully rebuild, all the parts changed. The engine is better then new, it has all aftermarket parts inside. The car has done the milage to be ready to upgrade the ECU and to be tuned to 450 HP. The next steep will also be water injection kit so it will help a little to my performance.
At the moment I don't have yet the new ECU, but the car is pulling hard, it brings you a to your face if you are driving. I will post some pictures later.
Hope I helped you

It costs too much but is worth it all the way. First you have to do all the works on engine, like aftermarket internals, then choose the turbo and you will soon have some idea how much money we are talking about Then you have to find mechanic or DIY. If you are going over 350 HP, internals is must be or BOOM some day. Wear on the engine depends on how hard are you on the throtle. You will see if you decided to do it, but I say go for it. Soon I will do some dyno and will post then, but first I have to install new ECU inside.

For around $5,000 for 220hp... I think thats a bit much. Besides... I think the B6 stage 3 kit is awesome!!! Not disin anyone.[&:]
When I get a turbo upgrade, its not going to be APR... unfortunatly.
