Whats faster.. A4 or A6

RE: Whats faster.. A4 or A6
It probably isn't 30%...that means we're talking about a decrease in 0-60 time of ~2.5 seconds, which would place us in B5 S4 territory.
I can say with some authority from personal experience that my car cannot take a B5 S4. It's probably more like 10-15 percent. I can hang with my friend's 92 S4, which is about 230hp, 250lb-ft, 0-60 in ~6.4 with him driving. I can't beat him, but I don't get embarassed, and he doesn't pull too far ahead.
Ok, heres power to weight specs: A6 2.7T is 3836 pounds, manual. It has about 250 hp, which works out to 15.3:1 power to weight. That's 15.3 pounds for every horsepower. B5 A4 chipped has ~200 hp, and weighs 3241 pounds (quattro manual;add 100 for tiptronic, subtract 200 for FWD) which is about 16.2 lbs per horsepower.
So an A4 is slower in a straight line.
