I was cleaning out my trunk in my a4 to put in a sound system while i was pulling of the carpet to put dynomat it i found a cable that looked like it connected to a computer what could this be

im pretty sure hes talking about the amp for the bose speakers but im not 100% sure.

It looks like a monitor cable in the back left corner its not connected to anything it just lays there its not the amp wires

It couldn't be a pre-wired NAV plug, not in a 99.5. I'm guessing it's the cd changer cable

Nah, CD changer cable looks more like an oversized S-video cable.

Since i'm assuming he's not the original owner, maybe the PO had a carputer, or maybe had a NAV unit in at one time? I'm pretty sure he would know what a cd changer cable would look like.
