Definetely go JL audio. Front components and rear. JL amp too. You won't have regrets. If you weren't lookin at that high a price check out Directed Audio's smaller line called XTREME. They sound very legit. I couldnt tell u wat size speakers u have in the rear. I have a B5 with an insane system.

thanks trinaudi..i will definitely take a look
a bunch of people are telling me not to change the speakers cuz they can hold their own....just add a subwoofer/amplifier combination in the trunk
so maybe i can get away without spending $ on speakers....now i gotta look for a subwoofer and an amp
THANKS!

that is correct Mr. I was in Best Buy yesterday looking at speakers and looked it up in the computer they had. Front is 5 1/4 and rear 6 1/2. It looks like we have tweaters right? Can those be replaced as well?

hmm...they probly can but i just added a 1000 watt rocksford fosgate amp and 2 12" subs and left everything else stock. stock system is loud enough for me. it just needed just extra bass. and i defintely recommend a rocksford fosgate amp. they are the best amps i have ever owned. a 1000 watt RF amp hits 2 times louder than the other amp that claim 1000 watts. for speakers i would just leave them in. and if they blow in the future then swap them out.
o and if anyone ever needs to know their speaker size go to www.sounddomain.com. if you go to their store they have a link that says "what fits my car?" just type your car in and go into their component speakers and it'll tell you what fits. they'll have like a 5 1/4" speaker and say it fits in both front and rear doors so you know that speaker size is 5 1/4"

RE: what size speakers do I need?
Well sometimes when im listening to cd's/radio the speakers have a cracking sound and hell sometimes no sound comes out of them unless i turn it up a little more the it would kick in again. So im planning to change those out soon if they are the speakers and not some wirreing issue.
