What kind of muffler should I get? 96 A4 2.8L
I want something that sounds good... nothing to loud. Just something with a nice sound. I also dont have alot of cash to spend on one either.
What do all of you recomend for a 96 A4 2.8L ????

dont change your muffler. im sure it wont give you any gains. and i doubt it would sound nice. in my opinion a loud Audi/moded exhaust Audi just doesnt mix. i heard an A6 4.2 the other day with some type of exhaust work and it sounded decent but it just diddnt seem right on the car. save the money and buy some ecodes or somthing you might be happier with. thats just my opinion.... ignore it or embrace it.

I may be new to the site, but i used to own a Mustang and it was all about getting a deep throughty sound, and with a V6 : ( thats what i tried to do. Although you cant usually get an American made company to make a kit for Audi' sI hear Milltek has a nice setup. I am going to get theres for my Audi.

I dont know what your talkin about man, throw an exhaust on an Audi and it will sound sick.... given its a decent system
and my suggestion for a 2.8 is remus, magnaflow or milltek

yea Borla is the **** I had it and loved it

I have magnaflow, it sounds sweet! I heard Borla is the way to go if you have the $$, but that doesn't sound like the case

it may be kind of a different sound since you have a 12v and not the 30v V6, but it would still sound great.
