if you're getting HID get VALEO one-piece headlights. valeo doesn't make a two-piece projector, and aftermarket projectors aren't nearly as good. if you don't melt your housings, you'll probably at least get condensation in one or both headlights.

 

i have been looking for those but i cant find a site that has them? Who mkaes the ones on llsuck, awe or ecs? Are those all valeo?

 

Well 1 piece are always better quality, but require fender trimming in your case.

Just watch ebay every day until you find a deal on a good quality philips/hella kit. I saw you were thinking about a 10k kit. I woul advise you to not do that. The light output is not going to be very good. 10k bulbs are for sure only. Anything over 6-8k has lower light output.

 

What are Ecodes?? Sorry im just wondering...

 

The headlights that come stock in Europe. They have no amber in them, all clear. Here is a pic when I had them:

so the housing wont matter but saty with a 6K unit?

Here's a few, if you want the oem installs then go to oemhid. Are you looking for blue? I had 4300k on my B5 and it had a slight tinge of blue to it from the sides. 6k is a nice color of blue.

so i can buy what halogens i find then follow one of those write-ups? I still would like to knwo where everyone on AF gets there ecodes taht u guys use? How much did u guys pay for? I know abut AWE, ECS and LLsuck are there anyothers taht r cheaper? U guys know of any classfieds that have them? How do i spot a good one on ebay?

 

Jest i can install the HIDs in my stock 2 piece ones and then buy the ecodes (1 piece) and later install those HIDs into the new ecode 1 piece right?
