Ok, I had the same problem just recently and went through 40 dollars of coolant until the part came in. I have been told to not mix coolant, it is better to run water than it is to mix coolants. They chemical compositions are slightly different and will cause odd problems, trust me. One thing you should do is tighten all the bolts(not TOO much its aluminium) and make sure they are tight because it seems like mine dislodged it self to releave pressure out of the system thus causing a leak. If not the part is 20 bucks and it takes about an hour to install.

I wish my problem was that easy. It a B6, so it has the quick connect fitting on the radiator. That's where the leak is from. I ordered the part from Audi of cours, only $35 for the upper radiator hose. I just hope that fixes the stupid problem. Lower hose connection is air tight. Almost feels like a vacuum seal when I try to take it apart, but the upper just doesn't feel that way.

I will be just be adding G12 again, no reason to differ from the geniuses at Audi.[sm=alcoholic.gif] Too much alcohol in them at the time they invented the a4 if you ask me.

I just had the thermostat, upper hose, and oil cooler replaced and the system flushed by a reputable German car indy, who refilled with what looks like generic green coolant.

Everytime I get my oil change at jiffy lube they always end up toping off my coolant... But I have no idea what they use... Its a yellowish goldish color... Any idea what it could be?

And what would be safe to put in along with that?

My coolant is already on min. And I'm going for a 3 hour drive tomorow and the temps are goin to be up on the mid nineties...

Any suggestions?
