I have a 97 A4 2.8. I noticed last week when i start it the trip odometer doesnt display mileage but it flashes a code " 1n 1" for about 30seconds to a minute then returns to normal. also lately on very cold mornings it will occasionally stall. any help would be appreciated.

hey, yea i get ln2,

ln 1 is just a check up/minor service (check your book)
ln 2 is manjor service

 

Its the service interval reminder for older a4's I think.. Your owners manual should tell you how to reset it, or do a search.. It can be done with vag com as well.
