Totaly agree. Hell 10 seconds will beat most bikes with a good driver. Thats just insane on the street. Especially if you upgrade the engine without throwin down 10k+ on suspension and brakes. My bikes are equally at 80 or 180 where as your car is not. If you ever wanna stomp the pedal with that kinda power make sure u can slow it down/not overwhelm the suspension with it. That eliminates any chance of DD for most cars as if properly set up will have a ride resembling an indy car. Rattle a kidney stone or 2 loose.lol Hp without the ability to put it down and control it is useless

 

remeber, not all cars only have 4 cylinders. why dont you go over to ls1tech.com and see how many 10 - 11 second dd's there are. then if you really feel lucky, go over to performancetrucks.net and see how many people use thier 6000+lb trucks daily who are in the 10 - 13 second range. then if you really really feel lucky go over to hybridz.org and have your mind blown!!! sure not all 10 second cars are dds but alot are.

maybe a little over confident but the chip is 15 hp and the intake is something so not far off. The chip also isn't bs it made a huge difference so make sure you get your facts straight before you start blowing hot air.

 

Facts come from dyno sheets and track slips. Speaking of hot air, thats all your sucking into your engine with an intake [8D]

 

very simple answer to your question... RACE IN THE RAIN!!!! haha. As far as off the line, that quattro will kill the wet roads . But other than that just enjoy the ride, you have a crusier and although you may not be the fastest, you are on the top of totem pole.... YOUR DRIVING AN AUDI MAN..

an intake does nothing new. guess you lost your respect for me too. the stock airbox is just as effecient as whatever intake you put in. german engineers know a little sumthin

 

Intakes do something for NA engines, but nothing more than betterthrotle response for FI engines unless highly modified. With a short ram, like you probably have, you are hurting your performance because youre just sucking in the hot air from under the hood. A truecold air intakewould help, but they dont make one for our cars. So yeah, Im pretty muchtelling you that your intake is doing nothing more than making your car sound like every other civic on the road, and hurting your engine's performance. As for the respect that you have/dont have for me, its really not of concern to me. Im sure your throtle response is super duper though.
At least with the stock airbox you are getting fresher/colder air, which is all that really matters.
Just because something sounds fast, doesnt mean it is.
