wow alot of you guys arent very positive... youd think since its an AUDI forum there should be atleast a few people who umm you know like audis?

anyway if your racing sports cars you can beat some of them... a base model mustang haha not saying much but still it is a sports car... but i agree with you guys who say these cars a fast on the interstate... i mean ive done 132mph in mine and it could keep going but i had to slow down due to bad speed rated tires (if your going to go that fast make sure your tires are speed rated VR or better)

another place you can beat alot of people is on curvey back roads. audis handle rediculously and have enough torque to get back up to speed quick. and with quattro no ones going to be able to take you in the snow

 

^^we love our audi's, but most of us chose this car for the luxury and handling, not 1/4 mile times. a chipped k03 is decently torquey but by no means has a lot of horsepower (especially considering its weight) they can beat wrx's but not STI's. srt-4's and evo's are a little out of reach, but most imports unless they are somewhat built aren't a problem.

 

Yea and thats kinda what I was expecting. Believe me, I would much rather have a nice clean leather interior vs a cloth one any day of the week. Audi is pure luxury and honda is well, just a honda...[:'(]

6th gear will not help you "take" anyone. It is an overdrive gear made for decreasing RPMs on the freeway to improve fuel efficiency and relieve stress on the engine. If you shift into 6th, you may be able to reach a higher top speed than someone limited to 5 gears but you wont "take" them.

So when your racing somebody in 5th gear and both of your RPM's are movin towards 8k aka redline, Then you shift into 6th drop down to about 4-5k RPM's and your car moves up to a higher top speed then him and he stays there whats that called?

 

yeah dude, I have a Scion tC for a daily driver, they are quick, as in they can beat a good bit of 4 bangers, as well s the Toyota Camry V6, but my audi just blows the tC away... welll untill the warranty runs out and i throw a big turbo on it
